Our 49th State should be the first on your list. One of the world’s most spectacular cruise destinations, there is absolutely no better way to view this majestic land
than on board a luxurious cruise ship. People who have been there will tell you…..From the gleaming glaciers, abundant wildlife, breathtaking mountain scenery
and friendly Native American culture, once you experience it all firsthand, you will never be the same.
There are three distinct ways to see Alaska, but literally hundreds of Alaska cruises and tours to choose from. They range in length from 7 days to 19 days. The
cruise itself is generally 7 days, while cruise-tours allow you to discover Alaska’s famed interior via scenic mountain railways, glass-domed motorcoaches, and air
transportation.

| "Inside Passage" Cruises |
|
These cruises are typically roundtrip from Vancouver or Seattle, and are usually 7 nights in length. You will sail through the famed
Inside Passage, which is a narrow waterway nestled between majestic mountains, and dotted with scenic waterfront communities. This area is great for whale
watching, glacier viewing, exploring Native culture, and much, much more! These cruises are both popular and convenient, as the prices are the most economical
of all 7-night Alaska cruises, and the roundtrip itinerary allows for convenient in-and-out flight service from the same city. It’s a great choice if you’re either on a
budget or time restraint, but still want to see the best of Alaska’s scenic coastline and the region’s most popular sights.

| "Northbound/Southbound Glacier Route" Cruises |
|
This title describes the route -- one way either north- or south-bound between Seward (Anchorage) or Whittier (to the North), and Vancouver or Seattle (to the South). You will visit all of the popular ports and attractions as the Inside Passage cruises, but you may also visit College Fjord (the most famous), Valdez, and Anchorage. What also makes this cruise itinerary very appealing is that you do not repeat your route by making a U-Turn back to your original departure port. Additionally, you may choose to lengthen your vacation by adding a pre- or post-cruise tour of Alaska’s famed interior (see below for CruiseTours).

If you’ve got the time and the budget, this is the way to go. Since Alaska is such a remote destination, if you’re going to go that far, you really should see it all. Although a 7-night cruise will take your breath away, it may make you yearn for more. An Alaska Cruise-Tour is the vacation of a lifetime, and offers the best of both worlds.
Either before or after your 7-night north- or southbound cruise, you will enjoy a three to twelve-day land adventure that always includes an overnight stay in Denali National Park. Here, you will experience spectacular Mt. McKinley and see an abundance of wildlife and unique flora, all while enjoying quaint rustic accommodations. Also a popular stop is historic Fairbanks, where you can pan for gold, take a scenic riverboat cruise and learn about the Native American culture from friendly local guides. More lengthy land tours include exploring the beautiful Kenai Peninsula, remote Prudhoe Bay, and the Arctic Circle.
On your cruise-tour, you can have as little or as much adventure as you like. The variety of cruise-tour combinations can be overwhelming, so please contact one of our Alaska specialists to help you choose the right Alaska experience for you.
